Lavian gave birth to a healthy baby boy; but he was not at all what she expected. Fleeing her old life at the temple, Lavian encountered new friends and new threats as she searched for a place where she and young Belzan would be safe. It was not long before she found a home in the quaint hamlet of Beetletun and began to raise her newborn under the watchful eyes of Dwayna.
Chapter 3 has three parts and tells the story of Belzan’s birth and childhood.
